Hi! I’m Tanya. I am a curious and motivated developer who’s building her skills one project at a time.
This blog is a place where I document what I’m learning, share current projects, and use teaching to deepen my understanding of the tech I’m exploring. While I don’t claim to have all the answers (far from it!), I believe in learning out loud, and maybe also even helping someone else in the process.
I’m especially focused on full-stack development with technologies like .NET, ASP.NET Core, Python, and Flask, and I’m also exploring front-end tools, databases, and AI. You’ll find tutorials, walkthroughs, tips I’ve picked up, and the occasional reflection on my journey into tech.

Fun Facts About Me
Before getting into development, I worked as a Search Engine Analyst, reviewing search results to improve relevance, and occasionally stumbling into some delightfully weird corners of the web.
I spend a lot of time exploring in VR, wandering digital worlds while dreaming of traveling more in real life. A sad truth … for now.
I geek out over organizing tasks and setting goals. Whether I accomplish all those goals is another thing, but I even find project planning kind of fun (don’t judge).
My Tech Journey
My path into tech wasn’t traditional, but every step led me closer to what I love doing today.
I started out as a business manager, where I worked on creating Yellow Pages ads, websites, and local online marketing. That experience, in turn, sparked my interest in computers and the online world.
While looking for more tech-focused work, I landed a job as a Search Engine Analyst. In that role, I reviewed web content and search results to help improve search engine quality and user experience. It sharpened my attention to detail and deepened my curiosity about how the internet really works under the hood.
Eventually, that curiosity led me to start teaching myself how to code. To begin with, I dove into online tutorials. I built WordPress blogs and eCommerce sites using scripts and templates, and spent a lot of late nights experimenting, breaking things, and figuring them out again. That hands-on learning inspired me to go back to school to pursue a degree in Computer Science.
Since then, I’ve been actively learning how to build full-stack applications through tutorials and projects. I’ve explored technologies like .NET, ASP.NET Core, Python, and Flask, using online resources, AI tools, and plenty of trial and error to guide me. I’m still learning every day — especially when it comes to JavaScript, cloud technologies, and AI integration, and I treat each project as a chance to deepen my understanding.
This blog is part of that journey. It’s a space to reflect, teach, and reinforce what I’m learning. My goal is simple: keep growing, keep building, and help others do the same.
